Antioxidant Activity Of Kintamani Siamese Orange Peel Extract (<em>Citrus Nobilis</em>) With Different Polar Solvent: An In Vitro Experimental Study

Siamese oranges (Citrus nobilis) are one of Bali's most widely developed citrus fruits, especially in the Kintamani area. contain many secondary metabolite compounds as a source natural antioxidants. In this study, plants were obtained through extraction method. addition to method, selecting type solvent is main factors affecting results. Polar solvents tend produce higher antioxidant activity, which aimed determine best polar producing orange extract peel with highest activity. The research method used was experiment, where extracted maceration using three solvents: methanol; ethanol; and water. Furthermore, activity testing carried out DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl-hidrate) Data from analysis antioxidants IC50 compared classified according BIOS Classification. results showed that methanol produced yield IC50. Methanol could moderate classification. Further needed explore other potentials benefit waste an application zero system.
